Commercial glazing in Knightsbridge
Knightsbridge is home to some of London's best-known department stores, luxury flagship shops, five-star hotels and prime residential buildings, where a failed entrance door or cracked shopfront glass is seen by thousands of customers a day. NZR Windows & Doors provides commercial door repairs, glass replacement, shopfront and entrance door installations and planned maintenance for retailers, hotel engineering teams, managing agents and FM providers across Knightsbridge. We work to landlord and brand standards, keep work areas tidy and controlled, and can attend outside trading hours so stores and lobbies stay open.
We cover Knightsbridge from Hyde Park Corner and Brompton Road through to Sloane Street, Beauchamp Place and the streets around Harrods and Harvey Nichols. Many buildings here have managed loading, security and access rules, and we plan works around building management, concierge teams and quiet hours in residential blocks.

Both floor springs replaced and maglock aligned
- The brief
- A double glass entrance in a City office was failing to close and hold, affecting security on the floor.
- What we did
- We set up a barriered zone, removed both glass leaves, replaced the two floor springs, reinstalled the doors and aligned the maglock.
- The result
- Both leaves now close and hold correctly and the maglock engages first time.
