This notice explains how NZR Windows & Doors Ltd ("NZR", "we", "us") collects and uses personal information when you visit this website or contact us. We are the data controller.

What we collect
- Enquiry details you send us: name, organisation, job title, email, phone number, site postcode, number of sites, your message and any photos or documents you upload.
- Calls and emails you send us, and our replies.
- Website usage information (pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location from IP address) collected by analytics and advertising cookies, only if you accept them.
How we use it, and our lawful basis
- To reply to your enquiry, arrange surveys, quote and carry out work: steps taken at your request before entering a contract, and performance of a contract.
- To keep records of work, quotes and invoices: legal obligation and legitimate interests.
- To understand how the website is used and measure our adverts: your consent (cookie banner), which you can withdraw at any time.
- To protect the website and enquiry form from spam and abuse: legitimate interests.
We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.
Who we share it with
Only service providers who process data for us under contract:
- Website hosting and security (Cloudflare).
- Enquiry form database, file storage and email delivery (Supabase and Resend, used through our website platform).
- Google (Analytics, Tag Manager, Ads and call tracking), only if you accept those cookies.
- Our accountants, insurers and professional advisers where needed, and authorities where the law requires it.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, transfers are protected by UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to work are kept for up to 24 months. Records relating to work we carry out are kept for as long as needed for warranties, insurance and tax purposes (normally up to 7 years after the work).
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, object to or restrict how we use it, or ask for a copy to take elsewhere. Email info@nzrwindowsanddoors.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113).
