These doors are emergency escape routes from the school hall, so every part, from the push bars to the closers and pivot, had to suit fire exit use.
03 · What we did
We replaced the panic bars, fitted new hold-open concealed overhead transom closers in the door heads, and replaced the cracked bottom pivot with a new unit.

The fire exit doors open on the push bar, hold open when needed and close under control, with the new pivot carrying the leaf properly.
